Rules & Regulations

  • Independents  
    • NRG danceProject accepts independents for workshops, but they must register as Independent – Jane Smith (ex.)
    • Please see competition Rules & Regulations for Independent eligibility.
    • Independent dancers are not eligible for Prodigy Scholarships or renewals *Independents are defined as dancers who do not attend a studio, if you attend a studio your studio must register you to be Prodigy eligible.
  •  Registration & Payments
    • Only Online registration is accepted. Please register for NRG online at register.NRGdanceProject.com
    • Scholarship winners must pre-register online. All scholarships must be applied prior to checkout. NO EXCEPTIONS!
    • At the door, registration must be paid with cash, credit card, cashier’s check or money order. NRG does not accept personal OR studio checks at any event at any time.
    • No refunds on workshop/competition fees. No exception!
    • Early Rates apply to all registrations 30 days prior to the event. If fees are not paid in full 30 days prior, early rates will not be applied. NO EXCEPTIONS! Please be respectful of this. We offer an early discount for pre-registration so we can get our schedule out in a timely manner. Thank you!
    • One day registrations are not eligible for competition or scholarships.
    • Attendees give permission to NRG danceProject to use all photos and videos taken during the event, to be used for advertising and publicity.
  • Observers
    • Observers must remain respectful of class etiquette and protocol at all times.
    • Only paid Observers with an Observer band may observe class.
  • Security & Safety 
    • NRG danceProject, the facilities and the host hotel are not responsible for any lost personal items or injuries.
    • If a participant of NRG is in need of first aid, please see an NRG Staff member at the registration/merchandise booth.
    • Please make sure all personal items are against the perimeter of the ballroom at all times. Please do not place personal items on the chairs.
    • All dancers under the age of 13 who are registered with NRG danceProject must be accompanied by an adult.
